About Bob's Doors
We are a family run firm with over 40 years of experience and an unrivalled reputation within Essex for excellent products and service. We specialise in WOODEN doors and staircases – we don't do UPVC or composite doors!
All installers at Bob's Doors are time-served carpenters SPECIALISING in fitting doors and staircases; we don't use general tradesmen who also happen to fit doors. There is a difference! We are passionate about the environmental sustainability of our products, with over 90% of our wood cut from FSC® and PEFC certified forests. We work hard to ensure we know the origins of our wood to prevent sourcing from illegal forests and guarantee you peace of mind.
External Wooden Doors
Combining style with security, our range of external doors offer a solution for every home. Choose between softwood or hardwood in modern or traditional styles. We have a comprehensive range of front doors, back doors and french doors. Our external wooden doors are available in a wide range of sizes and finishes.
Internal Wooden Doors
Offering warmth, privacy or seclusion, our internal door range includes oak timber veneers, as well as laminate, white primed and painted finish options. We have a wide range, including bi-fold doors, pocket doors and fold flat room dividers. Our internal door range offers a comprehensive choice of styles, finishes and price points. Most are available in a glazed option, to create a design focal point to your project. Our wide choice of door sizes will also allow you to complete all areas of the home, including all those odd sized cupboards at the top of the stairs!
Stairs
Choose from our popular pine or oak finishes which can be stained and/or lacquered to suit your desired finish. We also offer different styles from each range of materials so you can complete a traditional or contemporary balustrade. For instance, a chamfered baluster and newel has the added detail of a neat chamfer on all four sides to soften the look.
Hardware & Door Furniture
We offer a comprehensive range of Ironmongery, fittings, and fixings to suit every job – all are designed and manufactured to suit the relevant British Standards where appropriate. By using the correct ironmongery you can adapt your doors to suit individual requirements, whether it be for privacy, security, convenience or a combination of all three!
